A Regnano circular from Pieve di Offiano via Montefiore
A perfect short walk for a busy day or, perhaps, between showers. This is a miniature version of our walk The path of greatest resistance but has the benefit of sharing only half of that route. The Aulella river, which rises just above Regnano Castello, features in many of our itineraries and this one is no exception because the outward leg runs along a wooded ridge that is sandwiched between the Aulella and one of its tributaries. The main river is crossed by way of a medieval bridge on the return leg. As usual, good paths, tracks, and quiet lanes.
